  2. seeking residence permits; U.S. test accepted.  Since January 1987, U.S.
  3. passports are not valid for travel in, to, or through Lebanon without
  4. authorization from the Department of State.  Application for exemptions to this
  5. restriction should be submitted in writing to Passport Services, U.S.
